The Fintech Rockstar Life: On Stage In Front Of 4000 People!
Zena Media got the prestigeous and rare invite to speak on the main stage at Money 2020 Europe in front of thousands of people!

It's not every day you look out at a sea of thousands of faces! And it's not every day you see your name and company on a giant billboard. But at Money 2020 Europe, this is exactly what happened to us! It was an amazing experience and we are so grateful that this huge, global event decided to include us.

Money 2020 is one of the biggest events in finance. It's on once per year in Las Vegas (where we interviewed Shaquille O'Neil!), Hangzhou, Singapore and of course, Amsterdam.
The event attracts thousands of fintech companies of all sizes; start-ups and unicorns, and features some of the biggest names in the sector.

This year, one of the main speakers was Patrick Collinson, CEO and Co-Founder of Stripe. Millions of companies across more than 100 countries use Stripe to start, run, and scale their businesses online. Other top Speakers included U.S Ambassador Susan Rice, Anne Boden, CEO, Starling Bank and Gilberto Caldart, President of Mastercard.
So it was a great honour for us to be included in that list!

We were introduced on stage by the fantastic Business Presenter Louisa Bojesen, who spent over a decade breaking live business news on CNBC (if her face seems familiar - that's where you will have seen her!)

We were on stage as part of the famous "Payments Race" - the biggest and most exciting race in fintech. Four contestants spent two weeks going from London to Amsterdam - but the loooooong way around the entire world, using only ONE type of payment:
Cash
Card
Crypto
Mobile
They did whatever it took to get to the finishing line, including getting rides in hot air balloons, sea planes and even tanks! And guess who won? Team mobile!
This means that although cash may be more popular in some countries, and card in others, mobile was the payment that managed to get used the most on a global basis. Food for thought!
We were also very impressed to see that there was very much an "eco vibe" at Money 2020, from wood stands to plants and trees everywhere. And it's of course always refreshing to walk around Amsterdam, a city where cycling is one of the main ways of getting around - right up Zena Media's street!

Thank you Money 2020 for having us - and see you again next year!
